How do you tune up a 2004 chevy colorado 5 cylinder?

A tune up would usually include replacing the plugs and fuel filter. The plugs are under the ignition coils which are located on top of the motor.just remove 1 coil at a time and replace the plug for that coil. You will need an extension to reach the plugs.Make sure and gap the plugs. The gap specs is 0.042 in.You can also use a piece of vacuum line to install the new plugs back into the hole.I believe a 7/32 hose will work.If you are having certain problems let me know and I can help you further.Hope this helps.Good luck.

How do you change the oil on a 2006 chevy colorado

This is for the 5 cylinder 3.5 liter engine in the Colorado

1. The drain plug is in the middle of the oil pan on the drivers side.
Use a 15 mm socket or box end wrench to remove the plug. Drain
2. The oil filter is at the bottom front corner of the engine on the passenger side. Remove the filter. Try not to tip the filter when you
remove it so you don't get oil on other parts of the truck.
3. Rub a small of oil on the gasket of the new filter. Spin on the new filter, 3/4 to 1 turn past when the gasket starts to seat. Hand tighten
4. Reinstall the drain plug. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN OR YOU COULD
5. Add 6 quarts of oil to the oil filler tube located on top of the engine
in the front and middle of the engine compartment. It shows the location
in the owners manual. Install the filler cap.
6. Start the engine and let it run a few minutes to fill the filter with oil.
Turn off the engine and wait a few minutes for the oil to drain down to
the bottom of the engine. Remove the dip stick and check oil level.
Checking oil level is in the owners manual.

2005 chevy colorado runs rough and gets bad gas mileage.

Sounds like it needs spark plugs and wires, and a fuel system treatment.
