Question about 2001 Jeep Cherokee
It could be that you have to put it into neutral, but it could be your transfer case, sometimes they go bad on jeeps and that would make your front wheel drive not works. because the transfer case might have teeth missing, so when it tries to engage it doesnt catch any teeth therefore making it slip to the next tooth on the spool.
