1999 Dodge Caravan Air Conditioning flucuating

When you start the car, the air conditioning blows out cold air, I put a high and low end gauge on it. When the car just starts both gauges are in the perfect range, but when the car runs, the gauges keep flucuating and the air temperature variates ''a lot''.

It seems to have juist started in the past few day, It has gotten warm and humid, I'm stuck.

Sounds like system is low on refrigerant and needs to be checked for leaks - could be anywhere on one of these.

I have a 1999 323i BMW. The AC doesnt blow cold (on cool days it blows cool temperature but not common A/C Cold Air, Hot Days it blows Warm/Hot Air). The heater blows warm air but definitely not common...

First things first.....You must have the air conditioning system hooked up to an a/c system machine and then checked for leaks and also read low and high side pressures. If there are leaks then low Freon (R134a) content and low refrigerant oil can cause the a/c system to not engage the a/c compressor which basically means you will not have proper defrost functionality nor regular air conditioning. Most shops, when working with your air conditioning, will install air conditioning dye to assist them in locating leaks and is the first step in diagnosing all a/c systems. Post the findings after thw

When i turn on my air conditioner in my 1999 durango it blows out hot air. can i put in antifreeze myself or do i need to take to the dealership?

Antifreeze is only for the radiator, does not affect the air conditioner, make sure you have the setting on cold, if it is still hot than take it to your local air conditioner re gas station, most auto electricians do it, dealerships usually send them out which you end up paying extra for!!! You just need a re gas in your air conditioner.

2001 dodge 1500 pickup. The air conditioning

It sounds like a low charge. It could be a clogged expansion device also. It has a higher probability of being a low or contaminated charge.

My air conditioning is not working properly. When

The blower motor resistor is causing the problem on the van. The location of resistor is behind the glovebox door. Remove everything out of the glove box and remove the glove box from dash. In doing so you will see to the left of the motor the resistor. Remove the electrical plug and the two screws holding the resistor. Installing is the reverse of removal. Hope this will help you.

My air conditioning stopped blowing cold how do you put in freon

turn on the a/c and look under the hood. if the compressor clutch is not turning then it would be low on freon gas. also check the fuse and a/c relay to see if they are blown out.

Air conditioning blowing fuss

Faulty clutch/coil assembly. If there was zero pressure in the system the low and high pressure sensors would not allow the clutch to engage, just to clarify.

The air conditioning only blows hot air, and you can hear the air leak every second, or so.

The Air-conditioning needs to be re-gassed. Take the car to an Auto Mechanic to get the Air-Conditioning re-gassed. They might also need to check it for leaks to make sure the gas stays in.

Air conditioning

You probably have air in he system. You need to vaccum the system down and then put freon in. You can either rent the equimpent to do it from autozone and do it yourself, or take it to a shop.
