Question about 2000 Dodge Ram Maxi
When my van stalls ,i can smell strong fumes . when it runs it peforms perfect..
Check your inline fuel filter also check your plugs wires for wear. Sounds like a possible Vacuum leak, when not starting. How ever strong smell suggests unburnt fuel. You may want to try a fuel system cleaner to remove any moisture in the fuel system and carbon build up in the exhaust if so try Seafoam available at your local auto parts store.
