How to Install 2001 starter voyager - 2001 Chrysler Voyager

Its a big job gave you and example for neon

does it crank. if so then the starter is good. when you turn the key but not start it do you hear the fuel pump running. do you know if you have spark to the spark plugs. is there any codes

THAT USUALLY MEANS A BAD STARTER. HOLD YOUR HAND ON THE STARTER WHILE IT IS CLICKING. IF YOU FEEL IT IS ACTUALLY THE STARTER DOING THE CLICKING, THE STARTER MAY BE BAD. BE SURE ALL THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS & CABLES ARE CLEAN & TIGHT AT THE BATTERY & THE STARTER. [CAUTION ] BEFORE PUTTING A WRENCH ON THE STARTER, REMOVE THE NEG. CABLE FROM THE BATTERY.

3.3L & 3.8L Engines To Remove:

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the wiring from the starter and starter solenoid.
4. Remove the starter mounting bolts.
5. Remove the starter and spacer from the bellhousing.

To Install:
Starter motor removal/installation (3.3L & 3.8L engines)

1. Place starter spacer in position on bellhousing, make sure flange is toward flywheel.
2. Place starter in position on bellhousing.
3. Install the mounting bolts and ground wire. Tighten the bolts to 40 ft. lb. (54 Nm).
4. Connect the wiring to the starter and solenoid.
5. Lower vehicle.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
7. Verify correct starter operation.

dont renew/replace the switch until you have changed the starter relay.

Starter - Removal & Installation

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
2. Remove or disconnect the following:
   Negative battery cable Starter harness connectors Starter motor

To install:
Install or connect the following:
Starter motor. Torque the bolts to 35 ft. lbs. (47 Nm). Starter harness connectors. Torque the battery cable nut to 100 inch lbs. (11 Nm). Negative battery cable

do you have a code for a trans outpaut spped sensor if so your local
auto parts store can sell you one you can install it with a 27mm socket

pin 86 and pin 30 at the relay should have power then your right about ground supplied from the ecu and the other goes to the starter solenoid check for battery voltage on those 2 pins 86 and 30 one fuse is under the hood and the other is under the dash.

It is always between the engine and the gearbox where the flywheel plate mounted on the crankshaft.

hi disconect battery take starter wirres off then 3 bolts on bellhousing that hold the starter on then re install
