The best overall pressure is 32-34 cold tire inflation, better tire wear and a slight increase in MPG

Low tire pressure. Look at the tire pressure sticker in the drivers door jamb, and set all of your tires to the correct spec. If you have a slow leak, or a bad tire pressure sensor, it won't go away on it's own.

The tire pressure light won't go off....

You could have a defective pressure sensor causing this.
One more thing, some have a sensor in the spare tire.
Did you check that?

Tyre pressures for honda civic 1.4 1998

tire pressure is located on the door jamb at the drivers door on a white label or sometimes in the glove-box or in the trunk under the mat where the spare tire rests if the tires are of spec it is listed upon the tire itself near the rim you will see a series of numbers including tire size however 32-35 psi is almost always the correct pressure
