Have u checked the headgasket ? Simple compression test will give a good indication. Remember a low compression can also indicate some valve problem.

If it's a diesel you have a leaking inter cooler if it's automatic your transmission cooler is going bad, the radiator will have to be re-cored if it has one.

This is the transmission cooler,it feeds off of the coolant system.get it fixed right away, because the next problen will be in all of the coolant lines.

2000 vw jetta 2.0 checked oil no oil showed on dip stick. saw that oil leaked into coolant system. replaced head gasket w/ new head bolts. flushed system, drained oil, new filter. after all done no oil...

Most likely place for oil into coolant is oil cooler, the aluminum box that mounts between the oil filter and a flange that comes off the block.

Where to add coolant for radiator on a 95 vw jetta?

Add Coolant to spherical reservoir at right rear of engine compartment as viewed from front. If it is low the coolant gauge flashing light will warn you of a low condition.

Could be just the OIL COOLER. VW IS CORRECT.
If the oil cooloer fails internely you will have a mix of coolant and oil. In the engine and in the Radiator,
