The code 10 for srs (air bags) is the thermal fuse inside the
diagnostic monitor is blown, it will do this if vehicle was in an accident, airbags were deployed and crash sensors trigger, safing sensors were also triggered or if the circuit to the monitor was at one point shorted to ground blowing fuse.a code 10 is just telling you the monitor thermal fuse is no good snd you must replace module. But if vehicle was not in an accident and you had a different code flashing at some point, usually a code 5 showing a hard fault short,or if it's flashing that now, this MUST be repaired BEFORE the new monitor is put in or you will ruin new monitor, and there not cheap.

The code indicates a problem in the driver airbag module, the common cause is the coiled contact drum under the steering wheel is defective, it is refered to as the "Clock Spring" Contact

1990 Ford Mercury Sable airbag light won't stop flashing and gas gauge won't work how do I fix them is there fuses to check

The airbag has a fault and the airbag system is disabled (VERY BAD) The system must be checked for fault codes, but the most likely cause is the rotating contact coil under the steering has an open circuit to the steering wheel airbag. The system can severely injure you if not disarmed before the steering wheel is removed to replace the contact drum, so best left to an expert.
The gas gauge problem is almost for sure a fault in the fuel tank fuel level sensor float arm. That means you must remove the gas tank to replace the fuel pump module.

Ford 2001 F150 pickup truck beeps approx 5-6 times every 5 minutes. Think i has to do with the airbag.

Yes you are correct, it is an airbag problem./

The Airbag indicator lamp is burnt out, and a flash code is waiting.
Radio shack ( or similar ) should still have the replacement bulb for it.

Once you put it back in, the airbag lamp will flash a code that is a number, t ( ie flash 3 times ) then another number ( ie flash 5 times ). You will need that code for the next step in the diagnoses. Don't be alarmed if you get 10 sets of 3 flashes, that is actually a LFC ( Light Flash Code ) 33

Airbag dash light flashing code 51

Common fault on FORD

Usually due to a poor connection in the YELLOW PLASTIC CONNECTOR underneath the passenger seat.

Just push it together properly and it should clear the AirBag fault

Airbag light on instrument panel flashes then stays illuminated

Some vehicles you can disconnect the battery for 10-20 mins and it usually resets a check engine light. But the airbag light is different. This means there is something wrong with the airbag system and it will not go out until maintenance.
