Question about 2000 Chevrolet S-10
My 98 gmc jimmy would not start cold unless i spray starting fluid in the air box and then it is fine. You can also just bump the starter instead of turning it noramlly and it will start. It has been to two shops and both have told me they have no clue and to take the truck no charge. I know they checked the fuel pressure, the computer has no codes, the injectors, sypders and just about everything else anyone can think of any advice will be helpful.
THOSE VEHICLES HAVE A HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP THAT WILL ONLY START IF IT REACHES 60 PSI OR MORE.. BUT ONCE IT IS RUNNING REQUIRES LESS PRESSURE.... MAKE SURE THE FUEL PRESSURE WHEN STARTING EXCEEDS 60 PSI OR IT WILL NOT START...
