Camry Idle Air Control Valve Cleaning How to clean throttle body and Idle air control valve iac
Quick Tip Throttle Cleaning EricTheCarGuy
A common cause for a vehicle to stall or idle rough is a sticking Idle Air Control Valve (IAC). This valve can be easily cleaned with carburetor cleaner. I've included 3 videos on the procedure for cleaning the IAC. The IAC is attached to the throttle body. Locate the air cleaner and follow the hose from the air cleaner to the throttle body. Take the hose off the throttle body, and the IAC is right there.
The vehicle's computer stores trouble codes that indicate which part of the operating system is faulty. If you know how to pull the codes then do so , if not take the vehicle to Advance Auto or Auto Zone, and they will help you. Just ask them to scan for codes.
Sounds like its not getting enough of fuel. check or replace fuel filter. this will cause vehicle to die out at stops because when you come to a stop. the dirt settles to bottom of filter, and then its like it chokes out the fuel supply. Hope this helps! the reason it runs in netural, is because the engine is not under load.

YOUR problem is the carby acc pump and idle jet ...... what you need to do is remove airfilter and take the top off the carby and you should see a small ball and spring under gasket ...when you open the throttle it will pump petrol to the small pick up jet and the other jet will take over ...clean out carby jets and rebuild and that should be ok

Number three cylinder is miss fire,it does not mean it is the coil, although it could be,remove the coil, and boot, and spark plug, inspect them to see if the plug,or boot look bad, replace the spark plug, and if the boot is burned or distorted, replace it,a fuel injector can cause a miss fire also, but change the spark plug and see if this solves the problem,if not replace the coil,if it is a dead miss, then the coil might be bad,as for the water in the fuel ,the cap is missing,,and 5 dollars worth of HEET will not hurt, also, fuel from the fuel station, can have water in it.It happens a lot.

your having a TPS (throttle position sensor) or ISC (idle speed control) sensor problem u need to have your car checked using an electronic scan tool to locate the faulty sensor to avoid costly replacement of unnecessary parts.
