I need the wiring diagram for a fan clutch of a 1996 freightliner need to put an override switch to automatically turn on the fan

Does not have a starter relay , When turning to key to start ,the ignition switch sends battery voltage through the park neutral safety switch ,for automatic transmissions or the clutch switch for manual trans . right to the starter solenoid . If you have a automatic trans try putting the gear selector into neutral . an see if it starts then . Have someone try an start it while you check for battery voltage at the starter solenoid S terminal . If it has Battery voltage at the S terminal ,voltage drop test the main B+ cable to the starter .

The car thinks the ignition is in the Start position, thus when you push the clutch in, it allows for the starter to be energized and engaged.

Something still is not wired correctly.
As a generality, it sounds like the momentary power wire (should only be hot when key is in Start position) is wired to the constant-supply power wire spot.

Car will not start how ? A crank- no - start or a no crank - no - start < meaning when you turn the key to the start position does anything happen ? Starter engages an spins the engine an doesn't start an run ! Or when you turn the key to start the position nothing happens ? Who told you it was a fuse ? Are there any light's lit on the instrument cluster , SECURITY ? If Nothing happens Find the starter relay an jump pin's 30 & 87 , if nothing is wrong with starter , battery , battery cables it should spin the engine . Is your vehicle automatic transmission or stick ? Automatic has a neutral safety switch , won't let vehicle engine spin unless in park or neutral . Manual has clutch switch , won't let starter engage unless the clutch pedal is pressed . Both of these switches can go bad . There are videos on youtube on basic electrical trouble shooting . Rad fan, only.
RAD fan on,with PCM wanting it OFF. bypass.

or want fan to run fording streams. NO.
ask your offroad buddies what fording streams means. (hint it's not FORD car)
We do this offroad so the fan blades dont crash and break off, as they hit deep water.

WIRE COLOR ANSWERED !! below. 1st page of 8w show what color codes mean on all jeeps made.
the DB-PK wire on the relay D13
if grounded by any switch turns on the relay and fan.
do not use 12v power there or say goodbye to PCM. boom. (it will blow it up)
even grounding it can... (avoid the $500+ mistakes)

Relay FAN. ECU runs it there are no thermal switches, the ECT readings do all this. and very well.
the coil has 12vdc power keyon, the other rlay pin is hot all time.bat pin
top right.

mark center FORD
eg: normal(pcm), ford, BYpass (or active)
or normal, dead, force on.



the first image is the risky way... but some do that. just SPST switch. (2 pins toggle, id use the 3pin way)

Easy solution ... auto parts on>OFF>On

Try the switch on the pass side door. Otherwise you need to remove the drivers door panel, access the switch, print a wiring diagram and jump power to the window motor with a jumper wire.

check for voltage at the small start wire on the starter when cranking the engine--you will need someone help. If there is no voltage you may have a bad neutral safety switch ,which is on the trany shifter.you have an automatic trans i assume.
If so try putting in neutral when cranking.

Take it to the Jeep dealer . It's still under warranty. Won't cost you a penny. Good luck.

ok there is a sensor the one control the fans but you can find a load information just go to autozone.com and aalso you can find the location of the sensor too
