My 2005 town and country power door locks have lost power. Where is the fuse for the door locks? Is there something else I should be looking for other than a fuse problem?

Hahaha this is a big joke on those Chrysler Town and Country. My t&c did the same thing I tried everything, replaced the fuses, reset everything nothing would work. I ended up replacing the door lock modules in both front doors it worked for a while perfect but now I need to manually push the door handle in and out. My advice is to drive that t&c off a cliff these things are one of the worst vehicles I have ever owned. Well I hope to trade this in in Jan for a new Honda. Even though I can only get 800 dollars for it. But that's ok my repairs have been averaging more than 250 a month on this tin can piece if junk. At this point I am even willing to pay someone to take it away. Never never never Chrysler again.

try looking for a fuse that powers them on the fuse panel inside the vechicle, there is also a fuse panel under the hood on most newer vehicles too. just look at the fuses one by one or look in the owners manuel for the location of the fuse that powers the door locks. if that does not work i would take it to a shop and have a mechanic look at the wiring.

Power door locks don't work with remote or manul

Look for fuse or relay problem. A bad (shorted) door lock switch can also cause trouble. Need to dig in and start looking at each component one at a time.

good luck

2005 town & country electric door locks quit working

the door locks are controlled by the body computer and one of the switches may be bad. When you pull the fuse you are clearing the computer codes and the locks work fine until that switch acts up. once the computer sets a code for a shorted or stuck switch all switch inputs are ignored until you pull the fuse and reset everything. Could also be a bad wire to the switch or a bad computer.
