The starter is located at the bottom rear of the engine at the engine to transmission bolt up. You must raise the car up and get under unit to see the starter.
Not too bad. Not much room, just enough to drop the starter. It is probably easier to go up through exhaust if you can get your exhaust shield off the manifold .
The starter is beneath the intake manifold on the top of the engine. Everything will have to be removed to get access to it . Once its uncovered, there are only 3 bolts on the starter.
