Question about 2002 Dodge Stratus
I have a 2002 dodge stratus coupe. 3.0l 24 valve V6. around 90,000 miles. It tries to die when I slow down at stop lights, to go around a curve. Basically anytime i let off the gas. It has also seemed to always idle really high since we bought it. And I think it might have a leak in the muffler. It sounds like I have an after market exhaust, oops. We bought it from an individual and didnt know that it had been wrecked really bad.
Indicates a vacuum leak
will not be a muffler problem but if the flex section of the exhaust pipe at the manifold is cracked that will affect the heated oxygen sensor reports and that may contribute to the problem

CHECK UR BATTERY AND SPARK PLUG WIRES WHICH R RESPONSIBLE FOR DELIVERING THE POWER TO THE ENGINE. WHEN U TURN THE AC U CONSUME MORE ELECTRICAL POWER FROM THE BATTERY REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF POWER AVAILABLE TO THE ENGINE

No its not the idle control valve. In 2004 dodge had a spark plug and wire problem. They did make a new one but did not classify it as a recall so just go to your dodge dealer and ask for the update
