What is traction active on 04 escalade?

It would be a good idea to return to where you had the valve replaced and give the mechanic an opportunity to make it right.

How do I engage my abs brakes in my 94 Chrysler concorde

The ABS function is always on by default. You cannot just turn it off and on.

It only functions during hard or panic stops to prevent the car from skidding out of control. You'll feel a pulsation in the brake pedal under those conditions as it alternately reduces, then re-applys, the brake pressure on any wheel that's beginning to skid.

It does this by monitoring the speed of each wheel, then comparing those speeds to one another. When a wheel is detected to be slower than the others, it indicates a skid is happening, or about to happen, on that wheel. The pressure is then momentarily reduced on that wheel to allow it to regain traction.

Turn on traction control on 94 sls?

With Cadillac, the traction control is on by default. there is no indication that it is on. You can disable it and notice comes up from that, but otherwise it is on.

Traction control

Traction Control system adjusts your throttle and braking automatically to help keep your car from slipping on wet/snowy roads. If the light flashes momentarily then that means it is doing the job properly. If the light flashes constantly or stays on then it indicates a problem with the traction control or ABS system and could pose a safety concern.
