Question about 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500
AC works fine. However, intermittent rattle led to broken ac belt. Belt was replaced, but the noise remains. The AC still works fine. The noise satrts when accelerating to 1500 rpm in neutral. Is it a bad compressor or can I fix this cheaply?
Check your air gap on the compressor pulley where the clutch and pulley meet. you should be able to fit a postcard in between it. if thats good then check your tensioner. there should be lines on it to tell if its wore out
