SOURCE: 1998 Volvo V70: Where is the A/C low-pressure port

It is under the hood on the left side next to the generator belt. It has a small cap that screws off and you attach your (Wal-Mart) hose and canister to it and pump for ten minutes until the gauge show pressure to be in the correct range. Should be less than 15 bucks.

SOURCE: Volvo V70 2001 wagon...how to replace front passenger turn bulb

If there are no burn marks on the housing then use as much force by hand to turn the entire black knurled assembly counter clockwise, you may already be at the point you have to be. Now try wiggling it back forth and pulling straight back at the same time. I'm assuming you've removed the housing from the body. If not there is a small gray latch that just pushes back and the whole assy. comes out very easily. When replacing the bulb put a little dab of vaseline on the metal area of the bulb before inserting it.

SOURCE: my blower on my 1998 volvo v70 xc is not blowing

The most common problem is either the blower motor or the speed control resistor. Both items can be accessed by removing the glove box and panel below it.

I have a 2002 Volvo v70, 2.4t . The signal light on the right side stay on at all the time

I would think it is a short in the turn signal switch but I wonder how it is getting power with the key switch off.
I would unplug the switch and see if the lights go off. Could also be a short in the hazard switch.

MY BRAKE LIGHTS DO NOT WORK ON MY 1998 VOLVO V70 WAGON....I REPLACED BOTH THE BULBS AND FUSE....HOWEVER, THE BRAKE LIGHTS ONLY WORK OCCASIONALLY///

I would guess the brake light switch is going bad. it is a push button type switch mounted to the metal arm which transfers motion from the brake pedal to the master cylinder. generally unclips or unsnaps and then unplugs from wiring. put a rug down on the dry floor next to the open driver's door. get a flash light and look up underneath the dashboard. follow the brake pedal arm up a few inches and you will see it. that is on a normal car, who knows how the swedes do it. they could drive up the complexity and cost by installing a pressure switch into a brake line somewhere which would double as a brake failure alert. first thing i would do is google volvo brake light switch and see what it looks like. then check under the dahsboard and see if you see it there

Volvo V70 xc AWD '98 - fuel filter change

Brandonlo168,

The fuel filter can be located under the carpeted cargo storage floor at the rear of the wagon. Remove the four 10mm bolts, remove the cover. You will then see a removeable plate to the right just behind the rear passenger seat. Fuel filter can be seen through hole in hole. Replaced from underneath wagon. Be sure to make sure lines are fully inserted onto filter. Check for leaks. No smoking, extinguisher handy. Note arrow on filter for correct fuel flow.
