Question about 2003 Jaguar S-Type
I have a 2002 Jaguar X type with the navigation unit. everything seems to be working fine, except when i type in an address, or select one from the list of stored addresses, when i select it as the destination, it pauses for a second, then comes up with a message on the screen "voice guidence not available in this area". I have driven it all over, and it says this in all areas, and the nav has worked in this area before.Do I need to reset it? If so, how? thanks
I had the same problem. What you need to do is clear the waypoint locations from the system. To do this hit the "nav" button, get to destination menu and locate the waypoint icon and touch. Delete all waypoint locations shows up at the bottom. Touch button, which will delete all waypoint locations and it will work again. Just to be safe, I cleared all of my stored locations including previous destinations
