Check your fuses under the hood, not just under the dash.

Trailer running lights Fuse

Go to Autozone.com and register your truck for FREE. Then you can get access to Chassis wiring diagrams and fusebox layouts. The plastic cover on your trailer plug will have the id for each pin in the plug.

The factory chassis diagram should show the fuse providing power to the individual post on the plug.

I have a 2010 F250. The trailer brake and turn signals are OK, but the running lights don't. I don't know which fuse controls this under the hood. Can anyone help?

I'm going through this same thing with my 2008. I have already checked all of the fuses in the interior box. I believe the problem is in the "High Power" fuse box which is under the hood. In my case it is on the drivers side over the wheel well and under another component which has to be removed to get to the fuses. REAL STOOOPID. I believe it is fuse 42 on my fiagram which is the trailer lights. I don't know if a 2010 is the same.

03 Ford F250 does not send power to trailer plug

Go to your fuse box in the engine compartment. Check the fuses in the box. Your turn signals and brakes to your trialer are controlled fron fuses in that box not inside the truck!

No power to rear plug for lights on a trailer fuses look good

Do you mean nothing works or just the power lead? If nothing works I would check the ground. If just the power lead doesn't work on the I know on the older superdutys the large fuses had to be installed in the fuse box under the hood to make it work. They were usually in the bag with the trailer brake controller wiring and had directions on where they went. Hope it helps

2004 F250 No brakelights/turn lights on trailer

You will need to get a 12 volt test light and check the trailer connector for a voltage signal to the trailer, it may also have seperate fuses under the hood for the trailer lights if the system is factory installed, federal law requires the 2 systems be isolated, if there are blown fuses find the short in the trailer before replacing fuse(s), with no exceptions the short is always in the trailer. Hint, check the fuses 1st.
