Question about 2000 Jaguar S-Type

My AC Stopped working a few days ago and today my car started to everheat. I checked the #1 sure on the engine compartment (AC clutch, aux. water pump) and it was blown. I replaced it and drove for a few blocks with the AC on and it stopped working again, blowing hot air. Can anyone help me as to why the fuse keeps blowing? Thanks

I'm a tad late on answering this ine for you, but for others, please check your fan(s) to make sure they are turning. That is, with the ignition off, reach down and give the blad a spin. If they spin, good if one desn't spin, that's your ticket home. Replace the fan motor first, then replace the fuse. Chances are it is the fan that helps cool the A/C. Then the fan will cool AND you will have AC again.

Why won't the AC work after the engine warms sp?

You'll need someone to check the electrical circuits to make sure the compressor is working and then check the blend door to make sure the heater is not on.
If the compressor stops running it could be the compressor clutch or a relay.

The wiper fuse is a 30 amp in the box in the engine compartment. The slot is F2-15.
Check your owners manual for more details.

My air con is not working. Previously a month ago stopped working for one day then started till today. Gas is full.

You shouldn't worry, it seems just a temporary connection error in one of the AC wiring plugs. If it happens again, turn the key switch to the start position, push the brake & pull the gear stick away to the "D" position, take out the small storage compartment above the AC control panel, with your middle & pointer fingers of both hands simultaneously push the AC panel out from above & behind, unplug the 4 plugs, spray the plugs & their sockets with the WD40, leave it work for 30 minutes, airjet spray to dry, replug & reassemble the panel & compartment.

I had the same problem on my 2000 beetle and I had to change the water pump . Once you change the water pump you have to change the timing belt because the water pump is run by the timing belt .
you could know if it is the water pump by checking the hose that comes from the radiator to the enging to se if there is water running to the engine .
