Question about 1997 Geo Prizm
I need to replace the key cylinder. How do I do it?
Disconnect the neg battery cable. remove the plastics around the steering column, this may entail removal of neighboring plastic components. there should be a small hole or pin on the bottom (or top) side of the key cylinder housing, with key in acc position use a small punch/screwdriver, nail etc to release the key cylinder lock, remove cylinder. reverse the steps for replacement.
