NO but you can buy a new wire harness and i think it goes for around $15.00. It's common to replace the wire harness the same time you replace the fuel pump since they will have the same amount of corrosion. Good luck and hope this helps.

My fuse keeps blowing on the fuelpump of a Lincoln ls 2001 do I need a new fuel pump

Probably. The fuel pump is really easy to do on an LS. Just remove the rear seat and make sure to keep spark or heat sources away. DO THE FUEL FILTER too. don-ohio

2000 Dakota quad cab fuel gauge wont work, jumps to full when started, fuel pump has been replaced. What next?

Check for a frayed wire touching metal and grounding out. The gauge works on resistance and it registering full indicates a short to ground. Either that or your gauge itself is bad.

Why does trac off light keep coming on?

Probably a frayed ground wire, shared with other idiot lights (both check engine lights, brake system fault light, low oil level/pressure light) and the fuel pump. It is a multi-stranded wire that passes over the top of the transmission on the way back to the fuel pump mounted on the rear, center, of the fuel tank.. As the strands break due to flexing, various idiot lights intermittantly come on, until enough strands break to make them stay on, then finally stopping the fuel pump from pumping. Repair the frayed ground wire (most likely as it passes over the transmission), and everything goes back to normal.

You may have a broken timing belt( look through the inspection cover and verify there is no fraying or broken pieces of belt. if you have fuel, spark, and air, the only thing left is timing.

Fuel pump runs intermediat.

If your fuel pump is running intermittently you may have a fuel relay that is going bad, the circuitry on the pump is frayed or you may need a new fuel pump. You should be able to hear the fuel relay engaging as you turn your vehicle on, but do not start the vehicle. Also, I would suggest you check the fuses, and try adding some fuel system treatment at your next fill-up to eliminate these as possible causes.

Good Luck

Stalls and don't hear the fuel pump and won't start but after an hour it will turn on and start why???

First thing i would check is the wiring to the fuel pump, theres a possibility that a broken or frayed wire going to the pump is causing the pump to intermittently operate then stop, after ruling out any wiring problems check the fuel pump relay if possible obtain one from a salvage yard or simply swap the horn relay with the fuel pump relay im not sure if there the same on your particular model if they are swap them if not try and get one, lastly if all of those things check out you probably have a fuel pump going bad and will need to remove the gas tank to access the pump to replace it.

Fuel pump will not pump no voltage to plug 1 or 2 new pump hot wired old pump it ran

Hi, first i would check to make sure that the fuel pump fuse is not blown, this fuse is located in the engine bay and if blown can throw a wrench in the works, also another common problem that i've found is that you loose ground if a ground wire is cut or frayed and not properly making contact, i would definitely check this to find the no voltage problem.

I have a 91 s-10 that wont run...fuel pump runs and I am getting fuel to the carb all brand new plugs and wires and ignition coil and module and new cap and rotor? fires up and dies out?

The fuel pump relay is at fault. The engine will start running off the oil pressure sensor for the 3rd wire connected to the sensor feeds power to the fuel pump which makes your truck start right up. When the engine achomplish the standard oil pressure as needed the sensor shuts power off by the PCM default system and turns on the fuel pump relay to continue working the fuel pump. replace the relay and you will be driving around again
