Question about 1993 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer
93 S10 Blazer automatic and tilt wheel. Ignition randomly will not turn off (key will only move to crank position). Unhook coil wire to kill engine, disconnect battery and ignition shuts off fine. May work perfect 5 or 6 times then acts up again.

Sounds like it needs a new fuel pump. Get a Fuel Pressure Gauge and check it make sure it up to the Specs,What I think is about 35 to 40 psi without looking in my book. Also you would want to make sure the fuel filter was changed, Your getting spark and fuel, But You stated your able to start it with starting fluid so I would say it must be a fuel pump problem.. I hope that help you out. If not get back to me and we can try some more trouble shooting. Take Care, Bear

On all the 90s s-10s there is a vacuum actuator under the battery tray and a vacuum switch on the transfer case itself. It is comon for the switch on the t-case to go bad and keep the front axle from engageing. If the front axle doesnt engage the truck will not have four wheel drive.let me know if this helped.
