You should have a input sensor and a output sensor on the driver's side of the trans!!
they are common to go out on these intrepids!!!

It is located on the left side of the transmission about half way up the body toward the output end. Has a wire clip attatched and looks similar to a coolant sensor. (about 3/4 inch diameter and a couple inches tall)

this is a bad transmission contrl module. This control module sends information from the transmission sensors to the power control module such as your speed sensors and other actuators on and in the transmission. This sensor should be removed and installed by a transmission repair shop.

Where is the camshaft position sensor located on a 2003 dodge intrepid?

Down on front bottom of engine block. Follow the spark plug wires to coil packs and ignition module. Then there will be two or three more wires that run from there down to the crankshaft position sensor.

Code p 0700

all this means is that the Tranmission Control Module has requested the Powertrain Control Module to turn the check engine light on due to a transmission fault code being stored in the TCM (transmission control module), you will need the TCM tested by the dealer or Aamco, Aamco tranmission repair does it free.

Location of speed sensor a for 99 dodge intrepid

The "Vehicle Speed Sensor" signal is generated by the transmisson output speed sensor. That is the one located at the rear of the case. It is externally mounted. That supplies "vehicle speed" info to the other On-Board Computers. The input turbine speed sensor is located just behind the bell housing area of the case. I believe the trans controller is the only module that needs that info. The Crank Position Sensor give engine RPM info and it is located on the bell housing near the engine block. I hope this helps.
