I'ts the low coolant sensor. I'ts located on your radiator. they are know to go out. if your coolant level is not low, just change the sensor. the sensor cost about $50.00.
good luck.

I have a light that keeps showing up on my dashboard its a red square with liquid on the bottom and an arrow pointing down...what does this mean? i checked all the fluid sand nothing seems low...

I don't own a Chevy, but the description sounds like low brake fluid. Dashboard lights normally reserve red for brakes- I believe that it is a standard of some kind.

Hi. i recently bought a 2000 saturn 3-door, and it didn't come with an owners manual. on the dashboard there is a warning light that has recently started coming on that i don't recognize. i'm hoping you...

Sounds like a low coolant indicator.
Is the car running hot? Check and top off coolant (Radiator fluid) but do NOT open radiator cap if the engine has run in the past hour. Most times you top off the fluid by filling seperate reservoir

Red arrow poiting down

If I'm right, and this vehicle is a stick, this model has shift indicator lights. Green arrow points up when its time to shift up, and red arrow points down when you need to downshift. If it does, the tach, which registers the motor rpm's, which controlls the lights, is malfunctioning.

I have a 2000 sl2 saturn and a dash warning light keeps coming on. its a square box with an arrow pointing down with a wavy line at bottom of arrow. what does it mean?

It may be the temperature light. It's hard to say by your description. Take a look inside the owner's manual to confirm.

it could be low coolant, low washer fluid or maybe telling you to downshift?
