Question about 1983 Chevrolet Silverado
I have an 85 chevy 4wd when i put gas in yesterday and the gauge quit working. It has dual tanks. the grounds on the frame are good and the switch works. When I flip the switch the gauge reads fuller and fuller. One tank is 3/4 full and the other is about 1/8 full The sending units are 2 years old that is when the truck was redone. I have worked on alot of these trucks before. What am i missing.
Unplug the transfer switch from the dash and clean the contacts. I had a similar problem. rh tank would go max full. works fine now
