Question about 1996 Honda Civic
My belts squeal at idle, but when the rpm's rise the squeal goes away. I haven't isolated the problem to anything specific but it seems to happen when it's hot outside.
Replace the belt and tighten after the belt has squeeled you have killed the belt.
