replace the bulbs and if that does not fix it you have a brake switch that may be out.

on multiple system failures the most common problem is usually a faulty ground, causing other systems to loop back throug a grounded circuit, like if the rear light ground is bad when you hit the brakes the voltage goes back through the park light circuit to the front park light which are grounded causing alll the light to go on to name one so go over all engine and body grounds first

1994 Nissan Altima shifter will not shift out of park

The shift interlock can be malfunction.

Have someone check the brake light as you press on the brake.

If the brake light DOES NOT come on then you can start

checking for fuse

test the brake switch.connector

and brake switch.

When the safety circuit does not see the brake being apply then it shifter will remain lock.

03 Nissan Altima car will not shift out of park. I put a screwdriver on the shift lock to release the lock and now the shift will move. Can anybody tell me what the problem might be?

on the japanese cars u need to press the brake pedal to release the lock on the auto transmission.this works via the brake light switch.if u have no brake lights the switch is probably not working.replace this and see how things go.
