2008 envoy Denali right turn signal and right hazard quit. replaced relay worked for 20 minutes of driving then right turn and right hazard quit again??? LEFT SIDE IS FINE

Sounds like you have a wiring issue ! Maybe when you installed the turn / hazard relay you moved the wiring harness in such away that made it work. Grab the wiring harness an do the wiggle test an see if it works . Mite have lose connection where the relay plugs in, close the terminals a little bit. I don't know what you know about electrical systems on automobiles or I'd tell you to do a voltage drop test to find the problem . Need volt ohm meter an a wiring diagram to do this test. Drove car, the next morning car dont turn over but all lights and horn is working, seems like it wants too but dont start never had a problem before the check engine light came on about a week before/2004...

try turning off all accessories in the car (radio, ac/heater etc.) then turn the key on for twenty (20) minutes so the computer resets itself. I had a similar problem, and still do from time to time, and I just reset the computer. turn on the key and let it set for 20 minutes then try it again. I hope this helps...

The security light came on.

Turn off all the accessories in the car, like the ac/heater, radio, etc., then turn on the key to the run position for 20 minutes and the computer resets itself. It should start after that. I have a similar problem and my mechanic told me this and it worked for me. It still happens from time to time but I no longer get stranded for more than 20 minutes and the tow fees savesd are enormous.

Key stuck in ignition

Be sure its all the way in park or try neutral. Its possible that security system does not recognize the key. Is security light flashing or on steady? Shut all doors and windows, trunk, hood, turn off all accessory's,roll down drivers window, turn key off and remove for at least 1 minute, insert key into ignition, try to start leaving key to run position for 20 minutes, turn key to off, wait 15 seconds, try to start again leaving key to run, wait 20 minutes, turn key off, wait 15 seconds, try to start, again leaving key to run, wait 20 minutes, turn key off, wait 15 seconds, try to start. This should relearn key code. It may relearn after 1 learn cycle and start if system is ok. Hope this helps and that the weather is dry and warm for this procedure! This is not always a fix, but works most of the time.
