Question about 2005 Ferrari F430
Battery light came on. Took car to Sears, they said it was bad and replaced it. Battery light was still on, took car back, said it was a bad alternator and are replacing that as I write this. What are the chances that both the alternator and the battery were bad? How do I know if I really need a new battery? I feel ripped off, I don't want to buy a new battery if that wasn't the problem.
ETA: my car is not an F430 Ferrari. The product request doesn't seem to cover my kind of question.
I have seen up to 8 defective rebilt alternators, so it is very poss.
