2004 Saab 95 low beam not working. Can I just change the bulb?

Non-Xenon.

Thanks for the response. It was not the fuse, although it would have been easier to check for that. I replace the low beam HID bulb with an Auto Zone replacement bulb.
I removed the battery/fuse cover, unscrewed the large dome-like cover behind the bulb housing, disconnected the wires by pulling the plug assembly, the discovered the brass clip that maintained the bulb tension in the hole. ( I am told by the Saab dealer that not all models use a spring-clip. Some models use the push and twist style mounting.) It was a pain to release the clip. I finally just pulled one side of the 'hinge' end off the bracket. The Tab side of the bulb base was orientated in the up position. This was important when reversing the procedure to replace the bulb into the center of the fixture.

How to replace low beam bulb on 2004 baja

I was able to locate an owners manual for the vehicle. The large plastic weatherguard protecting the headlight bulb connections needs to be rotated CCW about 90 degrees, and removed to provide access to the bulbs. Then remove the center connection for the low beam and release the spring clip retainer to release the low beam bulb. Replace with new bulb and reconnect/reinstall retainer clip, center connector wire, and weatherguard. Note that this is the procedure for the Turbo Baja...non-Turbo model is different.
