Does the engine turn over and not fire up ? or does it not turn over at all ? if not turning over at all i'd think you have a flat battery , if turns and not fires get the OBD codes read as this will show the faulty sensor/switch

Sounds like headgasket over revving on start is ecu over compensating water does not compress like diesel or petrol

My 94 Verada just decided to not start. No problems before that just pulled up and when I went to start it up again it turns over but wont run. Any ideas??
Check the fuel pump, when you turn the key on you should hear a low hum from the fuel tank for one second, if not you need a new fuel pump or the fuel pump circuit is defective due to wiring issues or a defective relay.
