Question about 2001 Oldsmobile Alero
Most likely is the head gasket
Fill the system and start it up ,with the cap removed look at the header tank where you fill the radiatior is there bubbles coming up from the bottom put the cap on, then go around the back of the car and put your hand in front of the muffler outlet.
If you get a wet hand there is a leak on the head going into the pistons and getting expelled out of the muffler
Dip the oil , if it a bit like mayonaisse then the water is leaking into the sump
You can try products like Radweld and Ce-lit which can stop leaks on a temporary basis
If not it is a head off job
