Have a 2009 Nissan Quest I can't turn the heat off. Just stays on a high level of blowing out heat .

If you have a fan that has different speed settings (1234, or low med high etc) and the only one that works is high - then the blower resistor pack has failed. If you have a climate control unit (where you just pick a temp you want) then the fan is controlled by the heating system and it sets fan speed. If you have climate control style try lowering the temp to a lower setting (current temp in vehicle) and see if fan slows down. If not then climate control unit or fan resistor bad. If dial type and you get nothing on lower settings (only high works like mentioned above) you need to change blower resistor. It is located under dash near the fan itself. Look for small unit bolted in duct near fan with wire plug going to it.

2008 navigator fan blows high as long as the car is started and won't turn off.

You will need to replace the blower motor speed control module/resistor, it is burned out. it is located next to the blower motor.

Air condition and heat won't work

Check to see if you are getting voltage to the blower motor if you are the motor is bad if not check the fan speed switch. 1 2 3 or low medium high if you get voltage going to the switch but not from replace the switch if you have voltage from switch check the blower motor resistor the although with the blower resistor you commonly have a high fan speed in the max setting and the lower speed settings don't work wich would make you think 1 2 3 are not working but 4 is. That is why it is best to check all parts to make sure the part you do replace needed to be replaced

What you mean is the blower motor will only run on high, right ?
It could be the fan switch or the resistor.

The heater in my 2002 Dakota works only at the very highest setting. There is no power at the lowers settings. The defrost light doesn't come on until that setting also, so definantly no power. When turned...

I'm assuming you mean the fan only works on high. If that's the case the blower motor resistor is bad. When the fan switch is on high it puts a full 12Volts to the blower motor. When you have the switch in any other possition, the voltage is routed through the resistor and reduced thus making the motor run slower.

2002 Honda Odyssey fan only works at high speed. The A/C compress

Usually when the blower fan only operates on hi speed, its because of a failed blower motor resistor. You still have hi speed because on hi, the power going to the blower motor goes directly to it, as opposed to the lower speeds, when the power is routed through the resistor, thus lowering the voltage, which in turn lowers the speed of the fan. The resistor is usually located near the blower motor itself, under the hood back near the firewall.

Air conditioner fan runs on high only

Check the blower motor resistor pack.
This is usually located in the blower motor ducting in the air stream.

Subject: 2004 isuzu rodeo...my ac/heater blower is not working

The resistors are in circuit only on the lower fan speed settings.
On the highest speed setting, power is switched directly to the fan motor.
Check fan power supply fuses,
Check power is available to the fan when high speed selected.
If all above OK, apply power directly to the motor to verify fan motor runs- if it doesn't the motor may need replacement/repair.

2005 jeep grand cherokee 4.7 Ac fan lost the 3 lower settings, only the high setting still worked. For a while the lower fan settings would just come on, and then go out again. The high fan setting...

Well, the blower resistor handles the lower speeds and the hi-blower relay handles the hi speed only. if the fan still works on the lower speeds then the resistor is bad. if the fan doesn't work at all then your motor has failed and or burn't the relay out also. if you can get your blower to start by hitting the kick panel above the pass. side foot area then the motor is bad. if you are handy enough to drop the kick panel and access the motor then check the connections at the motor. Then wack the motor and see if it comes on then. you will most likely find the problem if you follow those simple rules above. Good luck.
