That refers to the inlet manifold runner control circuit , will need to get further diagnosis at a repair shop , as is more than likely a ECU or PCM issue

I was informed me to mazda and they give me the solution to my problem. there are 2 solenoid valves easy to change. they did not need to scan the vehicle, it is a problem that often occurs on the mazda. the valve cost $ 65 on average each. I did the repair myself and everything is ok. thank you!I was informed me to mazda and they give me the solution to my problem. there are 2 solenoid valves easy to change. they did not need to scan the vehicle, it is a problem that often occurs on the mazda. the valve cost $ 65 on average each. P2009 means the intake manifold runner control circuit has excessively low voltage for bank 1.
Inside the Air intake manifold there is a set of butterfly valves that adjust the air flow going into the engine when its running at different speeds. The Manifold Control Runner operates these valves. The ECU, (the cars brain), isn't getting the correct electrical signals from it. The runner control is usually mounted on the intake manifold but where it is will depend on the vehicle manufacturer and the engine you have fitted. Try this youtube video as a starting point. It will give you an idea of where it is and some quick checks you can do to test if it is just sticking in one position. These control units are normally not too expensive to buy
if you needed to replace it. https://youtu.be/qfa-8dJPMQA
code poo90 refers to fuel metering solenoid--open circuit===causes wiring open circuit--fuel metering solenoid---ECM
code p2009 refers to intake manifold air control actuator bank 1--circuit low ===causes --wiring short to ground--intake manifold air control actuator ---intake manifold air control solenoid
There may be a connection to the transmission via a vacuum hose or control. If you come back with more problems that you are experiencing it will be a help to get closer to a solution for you
P2009 Variable swirl solenoid valve control circuit low P2676 Variable air duct (VAD) control solonoid valve circuit low input most of the time cleaning the sensors fixes the problem... if not you need to replace them.
I am unable to find a P2009 code. The closest I have come across is a P2109 which is:
THROTTLE/PEDAL POSITION SENSOR "A" MINIMUM STOP PERFORMANCE
Whichwill usually be accompanied by:
Improper idling.
Poor driving performance.
Engine stalls.
Also the "Cruise" light will always flash when the Check Engine light is on with these later models, but it does not mean there is a concern with the Cruise control. The diagnostic checks for these cars require the SDS: Subaru Diagnostics System.(A laptop computer with Subaru specific diagnostic software). These concerns are unfortunately not easy to diagnose w/out Subaru dealership resources. I hope this info helps.
Remove the wire from the negative terminal on the battery and wait a few minutes, then reconnect the wire. This will "reset" the computer and remove the check engine light. If the light comes back on, take it to a Mazda service center and let them read the code. They will be able to tell you what is wrong. Pepboys, Autozone....arent always the smartest cookies and are wrong more than they are right.
P043E-evap systems clog up high flow is the def. of that code.
To fix the problem you will have to replace the evaporator canister and control module.
Please rate this answer if you feel I have helped/fixed your problem.
