Problem for BMW 1999 318 ti

Remote key does not work, door key cilinder neither. car locked.

The car is locked. the remote key does not work,

The door key cilinder is "free wheeling" right and left but does nothing.

How can I get into the car ?

You will need to call a locksmith, he has a tool that is called a slim jim, it slides between the galss and door glass seal and with that he can release the latch inside the door, without a locksmith your only option is to break the window glass

The remote has a button battery which must have run out of juice. Simply replace the battery and try. If it still does not work, trigger any alarm in the car and then try to disengage the alarm by using the key, it should work this time...........................sodeep

Try bringing the car to BMW. I am sure they will help you. Tell them that the receiver inside the car is not functioning well that you are not able to open the door and go in to your car.

hi, it seems like it has "master locked" the car, you can ONLY get it unlocked at a verified BMW dealership.
