Question about Chevrolet Blazer
WILL MY 1992 CHEVY S-10 BLAZER 4.3L ENGINE GO INTO A LATER MODEL CHEVY BLAZER, JIMMY, OR BRAVADA? MY TRUCK IS GREAT MECHANICALLY, BUT THE BODY IS LITERALLY FALLING APART, WEEK BY WEEK: NO A/C, DRIVER'S DOOR WON'T LATCH, RUST HOLES IN THE BODY, ETC. I'M THINKING IT WOULD MAKE MORE SENSE TO GET ANOTHER, NON-RUNNING VEHICLE, AND JUST DROP MY MOTOR INTO IT, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT MODEL YEARS WOULD WORK WITH MY PARTS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW
Yes but if you have emmisons in your area the engine must meet or exceed the year of the truck you put it in, so if it does not meet emmisons for the year your putting it on it would be illegal.
