Question about 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The driver's side rear window has the power to go down, but won't go up...HELP!
Open door panel and disconnect wires from motor. Ignition on use test light in contacts to determine where power is. Run a wire from each contact to terminals on motor til it goes up. Might just replace switch first

If neither switch works it is a bad connection at the motor or bad ground or a bad motor. Remove the door panel unplug the motor push the switch and see if there is 12volts on the wires if there is the motor is bad There are small brushes in the motor that go bad tap on the motor while pushing the switch if it works that way replace it

durangos have many problems with the windows motors and regulators, I know for personal experience , because I have one, ...when you try rolling the windows down do you hear any noise coming from inside the door..if so.. the cable is busted ..you will need the windows regulator, if no, is probably the motor..you will have to check for power and ground right at the motor connector...if power and ground are present, then you need a motor ....in mine ,I pull the motor and cleaned , and they have been fine for more than a year, I starter with one and them had to do the same to all of them..hope this help
