Is the brake light switch located in a different place on a 2005 chrysler crossfier stick shift

there may be a pressure switch in the master cylinder try lifting up on pedal to see if they go off . i know chevy trucks had some that were on the pedal it self and pinned so it could detect rotation and they were hard to identify .

Shakes really bad from 55 to 70 mph

First & Foremost, If Smell Of Hot Brakes, Remove One Or Both Front Tires, Use A Flash Light & Look At Both Brake Pads From The Top Side, Check For Thickness Of Pad. Remove Brake Caliper, 2-13mm Bolts, Top & Bottom, Should Slide Up & Off Of Rotor & Brake Pads, Maybe With A Little Light Prying. After Caliper Is Removed, Remember Those Two Bolts You Removed To Remove Brake Caliper, Those 2 Bolts Attached To Brake Sliders, They Should Slide In & Out Very Smoothly, If They Do Not You Will Have To Replace The Bridge (The Whole Piece Those Sliders Are Attached To, 2 Bolts On The Back Side, Will Come Right Off After Bolts Are Removed. Sometimes You Can Bring Them Back To Life By Cleaning Them Out With Carb Spray Then Compressed Air & Ceramic Silicone Grease (Purple Pack From Advanced Auto Counter) Make Sure Both Pieces Are Clean Before Placing Back Together. If They Are Stuck Inside Bridge Piece I Suggest Replace Caliper Mount Or Bridge. (Some Parts Stores Call It Different Names) When Doing A Brake Job Always Check Your Caliper Release Pins & Make Sure They Slide Easily, If The Caliper Does Not Return That Could Be The Smell Of Overheating Brake Pads & Vibration, Also, Your Caliper Will Not Return & Will Wear Top Or Bottom Side Of Pad Very Badly. Good Luck! Probably A Good Idea While You Have It Up On Jack Stands To Pull Up On Bottom Of Tire & Feel If There Is Any Play Or Movement Up & Down, Should Be No Movement, If There Is Movement Your Lower Or Upper Ball joint Could Be Excessively Worn, Should Be Replaced & Realigned.

I think the information you will hopefully provide will give insight to the errors received on warning brake lights though the lights are operating normally.

  • Hello and thank you for the opportunity to help. When you say brake warning light do you mean ABS light or actually brake light or both? This is what I need to know as they are different. Please respond to my question so I can further assist you as they are two different lights.

  • I look forward to hearing from you.

Battery light and brake light on display, very little power when pressing the gas petal. What does this problem relates to?

Hello and Welcome to FixYa.com

I would go to Auto Zone and have the battery alternator test done to see if both are ok 14.7 volts at least; if not, replace the alternator. See the lack of proper voltage will cause the improper fire of the gas mixture--lack of power.

By the way Auto Zone provides this service for free.

You may have a problem with the turn signal switch, as power comes out of that switch to power the brake lights, the high mounted brake light does not go through that switch.
