Question about 2000 Ford F350 Super Duty Super Cab
The van is running sweet as anut, the van has been serviced air filter, oil filter, high presure wheel on turbo has been cleaned, pipes intercooler right up to intake manafold, intake manafold had gungie oil deposits is all cleaned out and looking like new van runs sweet still underpowered like there is no turbo kicking in had a look at turbo seems to be an actuater connect to little flap on exhaust outlet when reving vehicle high and low revs it does not go in and out like it should it does not work .?please help.
The actuator only opens when maximun set boost has been achieved. the actuator lets exhaust gas bypass the turbo once it has reached its pressure. check for vacuum leaks, cracks in the intake piping.
