If it's stock does it have a anti theft lock on it. What is the make and model of the vehicle? Does the vehicle have its own external amplifier. Is the stock radio specific to the vehicle vin? You give little information for help.

The alternator on my 2002 Pontiac Montana went bad and had to be replaced. While it was going bad, I lost the ability to unlock the doors with the armrest actuators, (switches) This is true for both the...

The alternator is not connected to the door locks so is a separate issue. Your issue is likely because you left the windows open in the rain and water gets into the door lock buttons (switches) and this is the faulty area. Replace the door lock buttons themselves from a junk yard. the drivers side buttons will effect the passenger side one so only replace the drivers side, they usually just pop out easily, pry up gently from one end or the other.

Light burned out on radio/clock dial - how to fix?

Sorry there is no quick fix for this problem. If it's the face plate that light's up, there are some electronic shops that can fix it for under the cost of a new after market radio. Just keep in mind there the junk yard has lot's OEM radio's waiting to be bought.

look in owners manual/glove box for the manual for the radio or in the owners manual it should have a card or a piece of paper with the code on it. if not call your local dealer with the vin number and they should be able to tell you the code

Radio is locked on chevy cavalier

I replaced the radio on a similar car with an identical junk-yard radio/cd player. of course it was locked. I went to the dealership and they were nice enough to plug a hand-held computer under the dash and unlocked it for free. Took about 5 min. Hope this helps.
