Question about 1994 Land Rover Defender
I have a rover 420 1994, i was driving along dual carridge the other day and it just died on me and wouldnt start, got it towed home and since then have got a new battery, spark plugs have been cleaned, now when you turn the ignition it turns over ok but just wont actually kick in and start the engine.
this car is not listed on here so have just put it under landrover defender, but it is actually
ROVER 420 GSI 1994
Under the dash there is a safety cut off switch which is fitted to stop the engine in a crash.they have a habbit of going off very occasionly.find the switch,press to reset and this should get you moving (refair to manual) on my 98 model its behind the ash tray.hope this helps
