Question about 2001 Buick LeSabre

I have a 2001 Buick Lesabre. the ABS light came

I have a 2001 Buick Lesabre. the ABS light came on alomg with the traction control off light. I experienced grinding when I applied the breaks, like the ABS system does on slippery surfaces, but I was on dry pavement in June. Ipulled the wire harness going to the front right wheel, it was corroded pretty bad, I cleaned the connection with electronic cleaner and reassembled the wheel. The warning lights are still on, but the grinding or ABS is not occuring since I cleaned the connection. Is it possible I just need to reset the warning lights? If so, does anyone know how to do that?

ABS and traction control lights came on at the same time, is it a fuse?

Your friend is right. Your best bet is to have a scanner hooked up to your vehicle to determine the origin of the fault by retrieving any diagnostic trouble codes (DTC).

Dash lights and headlights are flicker on my 2000 Buick LeSabre limited. Any solutions? Also the abs and traction control light won't go off.

Traction light is on because the abs is on.Traction control needs to have the abs system fully functioning to work. Most common cause of abs light is a wheel speed sensor. As for your lights flickering the alternator may be going out or you have a poor ground connection.Would check battery cables first to make sure they are tight.

Transmission Traction "Off" light stays lit with Traction button

The traction control system is controlled through the Anti-lock brake system. The way it works is if one of your wheels starts spinning the ABS applys the brake to that wheel to transfer power to the oppsite wheel that is getting traction. If your ABS is bad then your Traction control won't work. To check it I would find a parking lot on a wet day. In an open space mash in the gas. if you hear the ABS system kick in and you don't squall the tires then your good. My guess is you won't. What I would be worried about is will my ABS work. When checking the traction control is a good time to check the ABS. Acclerate to around 15 mph, then mash the brake as your live depended on it. If you hear a motor run and feel a vibration or grind in the brake peddal, then it works.
