The owners manual should have a section with all the fuse locations. ie. turns siganals 10. then under the lid of the fuse panel it will have the layout of fuses with the numbers. take the fuse out and check to see it the metal strip inside it burnt and seperated.

I'd check the bulbs first.

I have 2001 VW Bettle 1.8 turbo and its overheating...i need help please advise what solutions can you give?


Locate your coolant overflow/fill canister. Check the coolant level and make sure it is still clean and clear. Next clean out any dirt/debris from the front grill and radiator. Finally, make sure the radiator fan and pump are working properly.

Where is the fuse panel on 2002 vw bettle


The fuse panel on 2002 VW Beetle is located behind a plastic cover on the driver's side end panel of the dashboard, door open. See pictures below:

If it only runs forward then the problem will be on the reverse switch sensor. Have the reverse switch replaced and you'll be good.

When you say blinker I'm guessing your turn indicator, if this is what you mean have your turn indicator switched checked
