Question about 2002 Nissan Altima
I replaced the battery in my 2002 altima and now the radio will not turn on.
Your factory radio probably has a built in theft deterent system that shuts down the radio when it senses a voltage drop. (ie: if the radio is stolen then the thief cannot use it without a code to turn it back on) check your owners manual or paperwork that came with the car. There should be a code that you enter to turn it back on. If not contact your Nissan dealer and they should be able to help get the code for you. Hope this helps

I had the same problem. There is no security code. There is however a 15 amp fuse in the engine compartment that needs to be replaced.
