1995 Chevy Lumina Has White Smoke (NOT WATER) Coming out Vents

First let me say thanks for looking at this post. A little about me I have spent the last 35 years working on cars and know a great deal about them, however I have never seen this problem before! The problem is at random times but always when the car is hot and when I accelerate from a stop. I'm 100% sure it’s not a core leak. Its SMOKE! Everything electrical works fine. There is no smoke under the hood or out of the tail pipe. The smell is not; sweet like antifreeze odor, insulation burning, burning oil, burning transmission fluid, case odor. All I can say is it wreaks like something burning. WHAT??? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Could be an incorrect refrigerant charge or defective pressure switch causing
the evaporator to freeze and the air flow over it is causing the ice to melt and
the resulting white smoke is condensation. Could be an evaporator core leak, and the smell is from the refrigerant
oil, and the fog is the refrigerant. Also - there is a resistor block which controls the blower speed in the ducting. When
one of the resistors goes, white smoke is fed dirrectly up to the vents.
Replacement is easy (admittedly while doing a head stand in the passenger
    footwell) and fairly cheap.

It does not appear to be water vapor because the windows are hard to clean.
I also have a non-functioning low mile radiator fan.
And oil sometimes suddenly goes 3-full 4qts. low with no visible signs of leak or burn

My car cuts off and thick white smoke

You have a cracked head,or a blown head gasket, due to over heating,or the gasket under the head has rotted out.

White and gray smoke coming out back and underneath 1995 Chevy Bl

Too late to check now... you've got a blown head gasket. When the gauge starts to give you any indication that something's not right you must shut it down or this kind of thing happens. Could have started as a bad water pump, hose etc. With low coolant from that (or anything else) continued operation will kill the whole thing!...Sorry!!

I have a 1995 chevy corsica. it doesn't want to go and i have the gas peddle all the way to the floor and it has a smell. there is a cloud of smoke coming out of the exoust and also there is a little bit...

Head gasket. Having water in the oil IS NOT GOOD! The cloud of smoke you are seeing is the water vapor. Do not run the engine anymore. You can do a lot of damage. You need to get the head gasket replaced and flush out your cooling system because you probably have oil in your radiator too. You'll probably need a new thermostat too. Hope this helps. Smoke or steam coming from vents, not overheating, codes read 12 and 43.

I think it probably is the heater core leaking. As the water eats up to boiling point small cracks will allow steam to escape. Probably smells like coolant.
