99 maxima ran till it was parked now it turns over will not start gave code p0400 any ideas

The fault is somewhere around the EGR valve - probably the EGR valve or the throttle position sensor.

Before replacing any sensors try removing and cleaning the EGR.

Here's a Youtube link that may be of help to you:

99 Honda Passport EGR valve what's the difference between $49.00 valve and $300 valve both have the same warranty?

If they are both new EGR valves, the difference is $251. That's the only difference :) (An EGR valve that works is an EGR valve that works... no premiums or upgrades or high definition or anything... just an EGR valve.)

99 acura code p1491

Code P1491 in Honda/Acura vehicles means insufficient EGR valve lift. Note - this is not the same as 0401 for EGR low flow when you have to clean EGR passage in the intake manifold. If code 1491 is not accompanied with 0401 - that could be faulty EGR valve itself. Try to reset the code, and if it will return soon - replace EGR valve. If, however you see both codes together - cleane the manifold passage before you replacing the valve.

98 honda crv engine stalls whats wrong?

The IAC [idle control motor] may be sticking. This problem usually occurs once the car exceeds 80,000 miles in service. Remove the IAC and clean it's interior with carburetor cleaner. Reinstall it using a new gasket. Sometimes, cleaning will not suffice & a new IAC must be installed. A sticking or leaking EGR [exhaust gas recirculation] valve can cause the same problem.

My 99 crv stalls on cold starts, have to hold the gas pedal down until engine warms up

Hello.
Here are 2 very common causes for your issue.
1. Dirty air filter.
2. Faulty, or dirty MAF, ( mass air flow ), sensor.

Both of these things can restrict air flow to the engine. Your ECM, ( electronic control module, also referred to as the computer ), regulates the fuel/air mix ratio for the engine, which should be 1 part fuel to 14.7 parts air. When the air is resricted it often causes the driver to have to compensate the lower air level with fuel, which may be why you have to hold the gas pedal down to prevent stalling.

I hope this helps you.

WHERE DOES THE KNOCK SENSOR, AND OXYGEN SENSOR GO?

The knock sensor is located on the side of the engine block. And the oxygen sensors are located in the exhaust system. There will be one oxygen sensor (upstream) screwed into either the exhaust manifold or the exhaust pipe before the catalytic converter. The other oxygen sensor (down stream) will be screwed into the exhaust pipe just after the catalytic converter.
