Try the coil in the distribtor cap, most coils go out after a few years, has to be the coil since you already replace the module, im sure it will fix you up, thanks hope to help, thanks robert b.

My 1989 celebirt will start then die shortly later and will not start for several hours.

I would look at the ignition system - are you loosing spark to the plugs ??
Could be the ignition module, the pickup in the distributor (if equipped) or another electrical problem.

Sometimes when a fuel filter is stopped up,and you change it,the fuel pump later, will go out, cause of the strain on the pump.

Starts well, runs wellfor five mins but then cuts

My first guess would be the fuel filter. It is probably almost completely plugged.

No spark from ignition module on hot start

95 JEEP WRANGLER 4 CYL

No spark. I have changed out the distributor cap, rotor, wiring from coil to cap, and coil was replaced. I checked the distibutor by turning ignition key and observing the rotor turn. What else can I check. I did not observe a module.

F150 ignition (won't Start)

If it turns over but just won't fire and the timing sounds fine when it does run you might consider your ignition switch.  Does it sound like it wants to fire but only just when you let go of the key?
