This one is so easy unplug switch at pedal just to check for short if lights go out then look at the switch and what it pushing on new cars are putting a rubber stoper to work switch .over time it will fall off and then the rear lights will stay on .I have repaired several for this with a small bolt and a nut it will never fall off again you will need to readjust the switch .

If the brake lights stay on even if the car is turned off (or even if it is on) the first thing I would be checking is the brake pedal switch under the dash. Brake lights are activated when the brake pedal is depressed and comes off the switch or the return spring is broken or stretched not allowing it to fully return when foot is taken off the brake pedal.

SOURCE: what oil does 2005 kia amanti use

Depends on where you live in the country.  In TN where I live most people just use 10W30 all year, but if you live in a colder area you would use 10W30 in the summer and 5W30 in the winter.  Hope this helps.  Thanks for an honest rating.

SOURCE: 2006 Kia Sorento Brake Lights not working

Apparently this is a recall matter and will be fixed at no charge. KIA Consumer Assistance Center 1-800-333-4542. Recall notices were to go out in May/June 2009.

SOURCE: 2006 kia wipper works but stops in the middle of the windshield

It sounds like the the circuit board has gone bad and does not know where the base is any more so it will stop at the middle or the windshield. Auto Zone should have a new board if it's replaceable like the GM products. Good luck and hope this helps, In the mean time you can always turn your wipers on and pull the fuse out when it's at the down position so it's not up.

How many catalytic converters on a 2006 Kia Amanti ?

If you have a v 6 - engine it should have two at the exhaust manifold and one down stream .in some cases the up stream converter will brake up and cause the down stream converter to clog up.if your state has emissions laws you will have to replace them. In S.C. we can bypass the up stream . but you might have a check engine light

Kia amanti air condition

It could be your blower motor. It is located on the bottom passenger side of the dash board under/behind the glove box. There is a cover you can remove and you can touch the blower motor. once you have the cover off start the car and turn the fan speed to high then try hitting the blower motor and see if you get air flow. if this works you need to replace the blower motor. If not you need a test light and start checking fuses and see if you have power to the motor.

Brake lights stayed on all night now car will not start this morning

The brake light switch is stuck open or is defective. Find it under the dash mounted on the brake lever, and make sure it is adjusted properly. If it is and the lights still stay on the switch needs replacing.
