Question about 2002 Oldsmobile Alero
I have a 2002 olds alero GL 3.4 LITER V6 ENGINE. do i have to put the
same factory catalytic converter on the car which is a small oval shaped
part. the part i want to replace it with is a magnaflow converter both are
magnaflow products 2.00 inch in pipe diameter the replacement part is not
the same shape as the factory part but the add says it will fit my model of car.
You should be fine just as long as the replacement part meets emissions standards. You don't actually need one if you don't have to pass an inspection.
